It's officially 1st Jan 2008, so Happy New Year!
Well, my New Year's Eve started out incredibly boring at first, but it did improve... slightly. After dinner, Genevieve and I had a not-so-genius plan of popping champagnepoppers in the ladies' toilet. How G-L-A-M, O-R-O-U-S. We pretty much failed miserably. Too much witnesses in the toilet. Haha. Stupid New Year's Eve countdown. Then we spent the next 45 minutes watching videos from my Ipod. How exciting. Then at 12, we watched the old people (including my parents lol) move towards the dancefloor. Soap snow was blowing furiously into the room from the outside, it was like a blizzard. Thanks to my bro, I was dragged to the dancefloor. Of course, being the social butterfly that I am, I refused to dance at all. I basically stood there with my arms crossed. I did do the underwater move for a few seconds, since I'm so cool and all. In the end, Genevieve and I settled on sitting to the side and watching old people dance really badly. Fun times. We did watch the fireworks for awhile before that though. So, I celebrated at home by drinking a glass of champage (it was super good) and a really bad tasting bottle of orange bacardi breezer, while watching Mr. Deeds. I couldn't finish it, it was that bad. It tasted like the drink after dissolving those orange Vitamin C things in it. Bleugh.
So my New Year resolutions, vaguely:
- Have a good year, academically. Meaning: Actually spend my time studying instead of watching TV shows
- Marry Jack Barakat (Or not)
- Stop being a jealous, assumptious bitch
- And generally suck at life a little less
So there, have a great new year, everyone! I know I won't.
