I went to a forum where some people were discussing about DPA, and I only have this to say: I am soooo screwed. My chances are seriously slim. Nobody on that board made it through DPA. Doesn't that tell you something? Another girl said something about the essay: "Long, boring, common lines are best to be avoided." I have no idea what mine's classified under but I hope the people who decide who to shortlist, can read some sincerity in my essay. Hah. Another person had a friend who used bombastic words in her essay and she didn't even get shortlisted for the interview. Good thing I'm not the bombastic-words type. And say, by some miracle, I do make it through the first stage, I bet the interview will be nerve-wrecking as hell. One of the questions last year was, "If you were a journalist, what would you write about?" How the hell do you answer something like that intelligently and on-the-freaking-spot?! Hmm. I'd write about whatever it is I'm assigned. Oh, what's that? I may go now? Thanks so much!
