Profile ![]() I'm constantly broke and struggling to save enough money to fly to Korea to marry my future husband (see below). This derp is my one true love. But I also love dramas, TV, music, movies, kpop and cooing over my beloved OTPs. One day I will travel the world and do great things. In the meantime, don't forget to send the naked band boys on 30 December. I accept all nationalities. Thank you. Xiexie. Kamsamhamnida. |

Chance-taker, heart-breaker, got me wrapped around your finger. Watching: Shake Tramp - Marianas Trench Okay, I'm tired as hell so I'll try to make this quick. I had to post this while I'm still suffering from a post-concert high. Time for photobucket and I to rekindle our friendship. I only took a few pictures, because watching the concert from behind a camera isn't exactly the same as watching it with your own eyes. Took a billion 6-7 second videos though. Haha. I had a total of around 2 minutes video time. Alright, chronological order, please. Waiting to go in to the concert area. Exciting. Whoo. Couple more hours before BLG takes the stage. Some rapper dude. -Snore- There were actually more rapper/hip-hop wannabe/DJ types, but honestly, who the hell cares? This band was the first good act. They did 2 covers as well as some of their own: I'm Yours (Jason Mraz) and I Don't Wanna Be (Gavin Degraw). They were really really good, and apparently have a single on radio already. Go them! Everyone was really excited during their set, partly because we could catch glimpses of BLG coming in and out of the white tent :D When I actually find out what they're called, I'll be sure to let you know. Haha. O-kay, they're called Jack & Rai. THANK YOU, GOOGLE! Ros. Oh, helloooo there. Don't you just love Utt's dress sense? And if you find Taya familiar, you've probably seen her in the Boys Like Girls music video for the song "The Great Escape." Damn her. Damn her. DAMN HER. Haha. One of the many crappy acts we had to sit through before we could watch the headliners (kinda like this picture though). I say, GIVE US WHAT WE CAME HERE FOR! Thank you, Damone, for being able to express my feelings so perfectly. These guys were throwing out their CDs afterwards like nobody's business. What surprised me the most was that the crowd was actually scrambling to get their hands on the free CDs. Sigh, Singaporeans. Just a minute ago while the set was still on, they were bored out of their minds, but once free CDs are being thrown their way, they snap out of their reverie. Keyboardist of The Great Spy Experiment. So many guitar picks, but did I get any? No prizes for guessing that one. Bryan's hair looked reeeally good. And I never knew he sang backup! Pretend for a moment that I'm the girl that was standing behind us in the crowd. Ehmagawdddd Paul!!!! -screech- I LOVE YOU PAULLLLLL!!!!!! -more screeching- Well, at least she apologises everytime her laminated BLG poster hits me in the shoulder/back. See, she might be downright obsessive and freaky-deaky, but at least she's polite. My camera was so shit that this picture was almost completely black. I had to photoshop it, and it turned out alright, I think. So glad that Paul decided to do away with the facial fuzz today. His hair was all curly and stuff too, haha! So completely different from its usual straightened mess. Well, I didn't manage to get any pictures of John, but drummers are usually pretty difficult to photograph cause they're stationed at the back. I'm sure he appears in some of the mini videos anyway (filmed whenever Bryan or Paul decides to go to the back for awhile, but shh). And oh em gee, they have incredible shoes. Well, I only saw Martin and Paul's (not surprising seeing as we're all pretty much eye level with their feet), but gah, they were so pretty!!! Martin's was black and gold (not to be confused with the shitty Sam Sparrow song), with like shiny dots at the back, and Paul's was just glossy and black all over. I need Nike Dunks of my own. :[ Almost got myself a guitar pick, too. Balls. And NO, we didn't get to meet the band, there's hope for tomorrow though. I didn't really describe the concert experience because whenever I think of all the things that I want to say, my eyes pretty much roll with exhaustion, and my mind goes blank. The concert was pretty damn amazing though. Being able to sing along is a major major plus as well. ARGH IT WAS SO GREAT. I got all sweaty and I screamed my heart out, andandand it was in-cre-di-ble. MORE! MORE! MORE! Hah, and they so did not fool us with the whole finish-the-set-with-Thunder-without-playing-The-Great-Escape thing. We are no fools! It's goodbye.
