I have this theory. Good things... they're meant to be shared. I mean, doesn't it make you deliriously happy when someone gets the same high as you after listening to a certain song or watching a certain show, and you'll smile really wide and bop your head vigorously and go "I KNOW, RIGHT?!"

Take music for example. There was a time when I was insanely protective of what I listened to. It's like, don't listen to the same band as me. Only I can like them. But like... why? I'm so glad I grew out of it though. The only reason I would hesitate before declaring my love for a band to the world is probably just being afraid that the person I'm sharing with wouldn't get it. You know what I mean? It's like, "OMG I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH YOU HAVE TO HEAR IT!" And then you excitedly share it, and he goes, "...Well, it's okay." It kind of ruins the magic a little.

I was just at someone's blog, and she was talking about some song that she really liked but didn't want to say what 'cause I don't know, I guess she wanted to be the ONLY person in the world who knew of it. It just pisses me off. I know I don't have any right to be. I mean, what business is it of mine if someone wants to keep a song title to herself?

I don't know whether it's just me, but isn't talking with someone about how AWESOME something is PART of the awesomesomeness? If it makes you happy, wouldn't you want to make someone else happy with it? It's just... baffling.

I don't know, I guess this is my typical roundabout way of saying: Please listen to Get Scared, everyone. They are made of all things awesome.
